LUNAR NEW YEAR PARTY

On February 9, 2024, the Erindale Academy and Toronto Central Academy held the Lunar New Year celebration with a variety of cultural activities. The celebration included special presentations by esteemed guests: Calligrapher Professor Chen artfully inscribing the school motto “Vision – Innovation – Action”, Chinese painting artist Professor Wang presenting a wonderful painting, highlighting the beauty of Chinese artistry and culture. Guest greetings from Professor Howard Lin of Toronto Metropolitan University, Ben Yang, Director of Wilfrid Laurier University, and Lily Li, Manager of Georgian College, further enriched the event with messages of goodwill and collaboration in the New Year. A delightful lunch featuring traditional Lunar New Year dishes was served to everyone, fostering a sense of community. The event featured captivating performances by the TEA Drama Club, TEA Music Club, and Toronto Central Academy students, showcasing a diverse array of talents to the delight of the audience. Attendees also engaged in traditional activities such as dumpling wrapping, spring couplets writing, and traditional Chinese painting, fostering creativity and cultural appreciation.
