A School 2.0 Flagship Program connecting high school students with the University of Toronto Mississauga innovation ecosystem. Students apply AI to real business challenges, develop entrepreneurial projects, and build a future-ready portfolio.
Through collaboration with ICUBE UTM, students experience how AI, business innovation, and entrepreneurship come together in a university-connected learning environment.

ICUBE UTM is the University of Toronto Mississauga Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre, supporting social entrepreneurs and early-stage startups through resources, programs, workshops, and mentorship.
Students are introduced to entrepreneurial thinking, guided ideation, and real-world feedback.
Students learn how founders communicate problems, solutions, customers, impact, and feasibility.
Students complete learning requirements while building evidence of initiative, problem-solving, communication, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Complete the relevant Ontario high school course requirements and earn the corresponding high school credit.
Receive a certificate of completion from ICUBE UTM, strengthening the student’s innovation and entrepreneurship profile.
Complete an AI-driven business innovation project based on a real-world problem, suitable for showcasing and applications.
The program blends online learning, immersive UTM-based sessions, expert guidance, and project-based entrepreneurship.
Build essential understanding of AI, business innovation, and entrepreneurial problem framing.
Participate in in-person learning and practice at ICUBE UTM and on the University of Toronto Mississauga campus.
Develop a high-quality AI-driven entrepreneurship project portfolio with evidence of thinking and iteration.
Outstanding projects may access youth startup pitch opportunities and funding support channels.
Designed for students who want to complete AI innovation and entrepreneurship learning during the summer.

We welcome applications from all interested students. As seats are limited, applicants may be invited to an interview. Admission decisions will be based on the applicant’s interest, motivation, readiness, and overall fit with the program.
Outstanding students may participate in a youth startup pitch event to present their AI-driven entrepreneurial projects and compete for up to CAD $10,000 in startup seed funding.
Students may also receive professional guidance to understand and apply for provincial and national youth entrepreneurship funds and other funding opportunities.
